The Atmosphere
is a new way to deliver air.
Traditional Air Terminal Units like Induction Units may no longer meet the needs of a modern building. It’s time for an upgrade, and a new way to deliver comfort. Tecspec carefully evaluated and reimagined these units in every aspect, with the latest technology to ensure exceptional performance and quality. Tecspec has created the first and only cost effective, total turnkey solution for installation of induction units in new and existing buildings.
Atmosphere induction units, manufactured by Tecspec, are precision-engineered for optimal performance and reliability. These units are fully constructed from extruded aluminum, including the air plenum and mixing chamber. The design features ultra-low leakage with only two gasketed joints—prohibiting additional seams, sealants, or glues.

Machined from anodized aluminum for low noise levels, with a threaded base for easy replacement.

Two-row copper coil with aluminum fins and 1/2" O.D. water connections, pressure-rated up to 300 psig, and removable via the front of the unit.

Non-drainable condensate pan with condensate sensor to protect the unit in the event of condensation being present and an automatic pressure-independent primary air damper that is self-balancing.

Includes supply and return headers, insulated with 1/2" Tubolit, and all copper piping (Type L) pressure-tested to 350 psig.

Factory-provided interconnecting piping, ready piping, unit mounted pressure independent control valve, pressure independent VAV damper, and removable lint screens.

Provides standalone control of the modulating pressure-independent control valve, seamlessly integrated into a site-wide BACnet system for communication and control via the BMS. Factory-configured with unique BACnet MAC addresses and device instances for smooth integration.

The system can be configured via Near-Field Communication (NFC) without powering up the unit, allowing easy field adjustments to MAC address, device instance, baud rate, and more.

Includes a latching push button for manual valve positioning, with monitoring and alarms for BMS integration.

Visual indicator to show the status of the ball valve for clear and easy monitoring.

Includes a pressure-independent, automatic balancing VAV Controller/Actuator that modulates to control the primary air CFM to a factory setpoint or as adjusted through the BMS.

Each unit features a pre-wired harness with quick-connect Molex connectors, supporting 24V power, MSTP communication, and VAV communication for simplified installation.

Units are delivered by sequential tag number to match floor order, with shipping packages designed to fit in elevators where possible. All necessary accessories for installation are included with each unit.
